1. Overview
Echo Quest is distributed through Steam. All purchases — including the base game, DLC, and in-game content — are processed by Valve Corporation and are subject to Steam's Refund Policy.
This policy supplements the EchoForge Studios Refund Policy.
2. Steam's Refund Policy
Valve offers refunds on Steam purchases under the following standard conditions:
- The refund request is made within 14 days of purchase
- The game has been played for less than 2 hours
Refunds are not guaranteed for purchases outside these conditions, but Steam may still approve requests on a case-by-case basis. DLC and in-game purchases follow the same policy, with playtime counted for the base game.
3. How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted directly through Steam:
- Open Steam and go to Help > Steam Support
- Select Echo Quest from your purchase history
- Follow the on-screen steps to submit your refund request
We do not process refunds directly. Steam handles all payment processing and refund disbursement.
4. Pre-Purchases
If you pre-purchase Echo Quest on Steam, you may request a refund at any time before the release date. The standard 14-day/2-hour policy applies after release.
5. In-Game Items and DLC
Downloadable content (DLC) and in-game purchases made through Steam follow the same refund policy as the base game. Playtime for DLC refund eligibility is measured by time played in the base game since the DLC purchase.
